About Us

After working in emerging technologies for 20 years, we knew the first time we rode on an Electric Bike that it would fundamentally change mobility forever and for the better. Having lived along 30A for over 10 years, we've witnessed the exponential growth in visitors and traffic to the area, and we wanted to help find solutions. We started the 30A Electric Bike company because we believe in finding better ways to do things and we believe Electric Bikes (Ebikes) are the future and represent the area's best long-term solution to reducing congestion.

And they're also INCREDIBLY fun to ride!!

30A Electric Bike Company is also part of the Florida For Good movement which promotes businesses that have positive impacts on their communities. We also believe in beach cleanups and leaving no trace.

Mission

We started the 30A Electric Bike Company because we believe electric bikes (Ebikes) are the future of mobility, especially on 30A. 30A is a 20 mile long stretch of pristine beaches that could be enjoyed more if there were less traffic and fewer car(t)s. 30A Electric Bike Company's mission is to remove as many car(t)s from the road as we possibly can by giving visitors a better, more enjoyable and environmentally friendly way to enjoy beach life.

Why Electric Bikes

Over the past 10 years, 30A has grown from a small collection of beach towns along the emerald coast, to one of the premier vacation destinations in the South. The explosion of visitors and new home sites has far outpaced the current infrastructure capabilities. There's not enough roads or parking spaces for cars or golf carts. Electric Bikes allow riders to explore the entirety of 30A, to and from the beaches and give users the ability to easily park anywhere they choose to go. Ebikes are the future of 30A.

How do I turn on the bike?

On the left side of the handlebar there are 3 buttons. Press and hold the middle button until the LCD screen turns on.

Can I take the bike on the beach?

Unfortunately you cannot take the bike on the beach per Walton County code compliance. Also the bike cannot be submerged in water as it will destroy the components and the rider will be responsible for damages/replacement.

How do I turn on the headlamp?

Please reference the waiver first if riding at night. To turn on the headlamp, make sure the bike is first turned on. Then hold the top 2 buttons on the left side of the handlebar until the headlamp turns on. The LCD screen will also change to being backlit.

How long does a typical battery charge last?

Anywhere from 20-40 miles depending on power consumption of the rider. If the rider is using the throttle or a high level pedal assist setting, the battery will drain faster.
